Technical Resources

As part of the firm's development a large investment has been made on in-house computer systems. We have a fully integrated and networked system with a full complement of peripherals, including printers, plotters, modems, scanners, and digitisers.

Considerable use is made of the computers for all aspects of our work. As well as performing administration and word processing tasks, they are highly utilised in the technical roles of computer-aided drafting, engineering analysis and design. Extensive use of computers in this manner not only improves our production but also gives us the confidence to analyse new and varied structures and to come up with the best option for a particular project.

Our firm has a strong interest in the development and utilisation of computers and we have designed a considerable number of in-house design packages tailored for our own use and New Zealand conditions.

On the CAD side we have a highly customised and sophisticated set up utilising AutoCAD software. All our projects are drawn on CAD. The efficiency of our computer network allows us to extend our capability well beyond our human resources.

Utilised high speed modems, documentation can be transferred quickly around the globe.
