Linda has 10 years structural engineering experience working on a wide range of projects throughout New Zealand and the UK.

She is passionate about ensuring high levels of structural and architectural integration throughout her work. She has successfully completed commercial and residential projects with her creative and collaborative approach to working with architects and other project consultants.

 

 

 

KEY PROJECTS

St Paul’s Square, Wellington

Lead engineer for the refurbishment of the 15 storey office building.

Post-earthquake inspections and damage assessments, Wellington & Christchurch

Completed several rapid damage assessments and targeted damage assessments in Wellington following the Kaikoura earthquakes in Nov 2016.

Detailed forensic assessment and damage inspection of the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Christchurch following the Feb 2011 earthquake for the Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission.

Greenwich Central Marketing Hub, London, UK

Lead engineer for the structural design of these new commercial buildings, which are linked by a feature curved canopy.  Linda was heavily involved in the structural conception and form of the buildings. The central marketing hub was designed and built in record time: 18 months from appointment. This project received a RIBA award in 2016.

Lanhill Road, London, UK

Engineer for the structural design of a new 6 level multi-residential building situated on a complex site requiring retention and re-support of an existing basement and retaining walls.

Island Bay House and Eastbourne Houses, Wellington

Seamless integration of structure and architecture was achieved on these high end houses in Wellington as a result of close collaboration with the architects involved.
